Thiruvananthapuram: A couple from Kottayam and their friend were found dead at a hotel in Arunachal Pradesh. The deceased are Naveen, his wife Devi and their friend Arya.
They were found in a hotel in the state’s capital Itanagar. Arya was reported missing on March 27.

“We lived happily. Now we are leaving,” said a suicide note. The search after finding the note led to the discovery of the bodies. They had several injuries on their bodies and died of exsanguination (death caused by loss of blood).

The deceased Arya was a teacher in a private school in Thiruvananthapuram. The Vattiyoorkkavu police had registered a case on March 27 in connection with her disappearance. It was during the investigation that they discovered that Devi, who was Arya’s colleague, and her husband had also gone missing from Meenadam in Kottayam.

The three were also found to have boarded a flight to Guwahati. The Kerala Police then handed over the case to Assam Police. Further investigation revealed their bodies.
During the investigation, the police found that they had searched about life after death on Google.

No case was registered in Kottayam in connection with the disappearance of Naveen and Devi. Both of them had left the house for vacation. So their relatives did not suspect anything.

As per initial information, Naveen was an online trader, while his wife Devi taught German at the private school. Arya was a French teacher in the same school.
